• UL 1029 by products category FLCR2/8 (Standard for High-intensity-discharge Lamp Ballasts – Component)
• UL 935 (Standard for Fluorescent-Lamp Ballast)
• CSA C22.2 No.74 (Equipment for use with Electric Discharge Lamps)

The UL mark is the most widely recognized, esteemed and accepted test of a product's compliance with US and CANADIAN safety requirements.

The certification indicates that Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) has tested representative samples of a product, evaluating them as suitable for applicable standards in relation to their potential risks of:

• Fire
• Electric shock
• Mechanical hazard

The UL mark on a product demonstrates the constant compliance of the manufacturer with the most restrictive applicable safety standards and guarantees the construction of products using materials tested and verified by UL.
